Step 1: Before getting started, please download and install the "Vault Pro" or "One Click Backup" (OCB) software for your computer’s operating system from the Downloads page.

Step 2:  Install and setup Vault USA "Vault Pro" or "One Click Backup" Software:

1. After successful installation of software, Vault USA One Click Backup will be launched automatically.
2. Please leave [www.vaultusa.net] the default in the [Address] field under the [Backup Server] section.
3. If you are using a proxy server to access the internet, please fill in the [Proxy settings] section.
4. Select the [Trial Registration] option to register for a free 30 day trial backup account. NOTE: After 30 days you will notified via email for the option of continuing the service by subscribing to Vault USA through our website.
5. Press the [OK] button.
6. Enter a login name and password of your choice  
7. Enter your email address.
8. Press the [Submit] button.

Step 3:  After successful login, a backup set wizard will appear to help create your first backup set:

1. Select the shortcuts in [Backup Source] to quickly select common files to backup.
2. Press the [Advanced] button to select additional files that you want to backup.
3. Press the [Next] button.
4. Enter a backup schedule for unattended backups.
5. Press the [Next] button.
6. Enter and confirm your encrypting key. IMPORTANT - Do not lose this key! If necessary, write it down and put it in a safe & secure place (i.e. safe deposit box
7. Press the [Save] button.

How to Backup and Restore Files with "Vault Pro" or "One Click Backup":

• To backup your files, just press the big [Backup] button.
• To restore your files, just press the big [Restore] button.
